4:30AM: 2 Dozen Shots Fired as 1 Dies on Glenwood Road

It’s no secret that violence has been steadily increasing in Dekalb County (metro Atlanta Area, GA)  and last night was no different as the number gun related incidents increased by one. Are the citizens of this once fine county losing their grip?


One person is dead after a barrage of gunfire erupted in the middle of a street in DeKalb County.

Police collected more than two dozen shell casings on the 4100 Glenwood Road late Thursday night.

DeKalb County police officers say one person was found lying on the sidewalk. He later died at a local hospital.

The homicide commander said they are trying to get to the bottom of what provoked the gunfire.

The victim has not yet been identified but authorities say he is 35 years old.
