Newsweek Tweets, Then Deletes Disrespectful Post towards MLK

The boldness of racism no longer surprises me, the bigots take it further and further everyday.  Newsweek reared its ugly racist face this week.

The magazine tweeted out a photo of her father in his casket Monday — then deleted it and apologized only after it started to suffer backlash.

The tweet had accompanied an article titled, “Has Anybody Here Seen My Old Friend Martin?” The article details upcoming anniversaries of historical events in world history.

“Why, Newsweek? Wow,” Bernice King tweeted shortly after. Newsweek then apologized for the “insensitive image,” but not the insensitive message and tone of the post.

“Earlier this afternoon we published an opinion piece with an insensitive image of Martin Luther King Jr. We sincerely apologize to the King family for this egregious error,” the statement said.

Lil Freaky ft Future – “Stripez” prod by DY and Pierre Bourne

If Dripset, Freaky’s first single, was one of your playlist additions in late ’17 let “Stripez” be one of the first tracks you add for ’18.  The energy in this track trumps the previous single and is fit for the vibez surrounding the beginning of the year! Pastor Troy rededicates “No Mo Play in GA” to the UGA Bulldogs

One of his favorite teams from the beginning, the University of GA has always had a place in Down South Rap legend Pastor Troy’s career.  He’s always been spotted periodically wearing UGA paraphernalia, so it’s no surprise that he would be excited about the teams first championship game since 1980; that’s a long time considering the support they get yearly, so their fans deserve it. And he did it in Samford Stadium!!!!
